Straight Face are an instrumental jazz / funk band who perform both originals and reworked covers in their unique and modern style. Songs by Radiohead, Cat Stevens, The Police, Toto, Michael Jackson, Pharrell, Beyonce and many more, are transformed into funky instrumental numbers that delight audiences and leave them wanting more.
Straight Face also collaborate with singers and rappers, making their show versatile and flexible. They can tailor their performance to suit most events.

Saxophonist Matt Bizzle has performed with Superhero Second Line, Jupiter Project, Molly + The Chromatics, Strangely Arousing, Hipstamatics, Brendon Thomas and the Vibes and Albi and the Wolves.
Guitarist Danny McCrum has worked with and supported many music greats including Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, John Mayer, Tommy Emmanuel, Jimmy Barnes, Simple Minds, Bryan Ferry, Joan Armatrading, Lizzie Marvelly, Automatic 80s and Magnolia Memoir.
Bassist Chris Lealiifano spent his early years playing for his church band and school productions. More recently he played bass and guitar for Fou Nature, recording on three of their hit singles and performing with them at Parachute Music Festival. Chris continues to play regularly around Auckland in numerous bands.
Drummer Jayden Lee is a dedicated young drummer whose playing, groove and professionalism is far beyond his years. He has performed with The Herbs, Billy TK Jnr, Motel California, Juice on the Loose, Kaitlin Reigel, Radical Kids and Alae.
